Burnley and Huddersfield are locked in a battle to sign Boli Mbombo from Rapid Vienna.

The 23-year-old fullback is a cousin of Manchester United and Belgium star Romelu Lukaku.

He impressed in the Austrian top flight last season and is seen as a left back who can compete for a first team spot.

Both clubs are aware that more interest may arrive for the player later in the window, which could drive up his transfer price.

Rapid may be willing to sell, as they only finished eighth last season and will not have European football next season.
