Burnley have raced ahead of West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion in the pursuit of Leeds United full-back Charlie Taylor.
The 22-year-old has rejected a new deal from Leeds and is pushing for an exit from the Championship club with the Daily Mirror indicating that the Clarets are in pole position.
Taylor's situation has attracted the interest from a number of clubs, but Sean Dyche's Premier League returnees are current favourites to sign the player who is valued at £6million.
Aitor Karanka's Middlesbrough have also been linked with the talented left-back along with the Hammers and Baggies.
