New England Revolution have confirmed that Teal Bunbury has signed a new deal with the club.
The 24-year old Canadian-born forward has signed a multi-year deal with the Revs after being an integral part of their push to the MLS Cup final last season.
Bunbury, who joined New England from Sporting Kansas City in February 2014, admitted he was over the moon at committing himself to the Revs for who he scored six goals and provided nine assists in his debut campaign in Foxborough.
"I couldn't be more excited at this point," Bunbury told MLSsoccer.com.
"There's always a little bit of uncertainty when you're going into a contract year. You don't know where you might end up, there's different places that you might be looking at. I always wanted to stay here in New England.
"As a player you always want to play somewhere where the organization wants you to be there. I felt that [from New England] throughout this whole process."
Absolutely buzzin to stay here in New England! So grateful to have this amazing opportunity. Praise
