Bullard targets Hull return in four weeks

Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard revealed he is still a month away from making his return to first-team action. Bullard has been on the sidelines since suffering a medial knee ligament problem in the defeat to Aston Villa in December.

"It's feeling better, the last two weeks I've come on leaps and bounds," said Bullard.

"Two weeks ago if you'd have asked me I'd have been a bit worried, it just felt a bit crappy to be honest.

"But I've been through this before where some weeks you don't feel great and then you get a little bit of a good feeling.

"I'm at one of those ones now where I'm feeling good again.

"I'm at nine weeks now so I've probably lost a bit of fitness so it should take a game or two in the reserves as well.

"I don't want to come back sluggish, I want to come back and hit the ground running and sharp."
