Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma admits he was convinced about a loan move to Hamburg by Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong.

Fellow Dutchman De Jong signed for City from Hamburg.

"De Jong told me that it's a very good club, and very good for my development," Bruma said.

"I am happy they have given me the chance."
