Michael Carrick has stressed the importance of Manchester United's Champions League play-off against Club Brugge.
United have started their Premier League campaign with two victories from two fixtures but the Red Devils now prepare for arguably their biggest game of the season so far when they meet Belgian side Brugge on Tuesday night.
The game is surely a must win for United and midfielder Carrick has urged his side to claim a positive result on the day.
Carrick told the club's official website: "It's going to be a big night on Tuesday. It'll be a big two games in fact. They could help set us up for the season. What we have to gain is very important, but you approach both matches as any other games.
"We want to win on Tuesday and not concede. Hopefully we can get a good start and take a lead to their place. We'll be ready."
