Former Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is a target for Sheffield Wednesday.

The Daily Mail says Wednesday want Steve Bruce as their next manager.

Jos Luhukay was sacked on Friday at the end of a turbulent week at Hillsborough with the Owls struggling in the Championship with one win in 10 games.

Chairman Dejphon Chansiri has targeted Bruce, who was Hull City manager when they beat Wednesday in the play-off final at Wembley in 2016.

Bruce was fired in October by Aston Villa, his ninth job in a managerial career which started at Sheffield United.
