Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce says he'd pay to watch his team.
Bruce was asked if he would pay - either through the turnstile or to view via TV - to watch the struggling Magpies.
Bruce, speaking in his Press conference before the Arsenal game, replied: "As a fan? Always.
"As a fan I understand it, I could say we have had our most exciting player missing for weeks.
"I won't use it as an excuse but if you took Wilfried Zaha out of Crystal Palace would they be the same?
"It's a fair criticism because the last game, in particular, was awful.
"If I was a supporter I'd feel the same way.
"But if you are in the bottom half you have to be a bit pragmatic, every manager would say the one thing they need to give themselves a chance by keeping a clean sheet."
