Leeds United have piled the pressure on Newcastle United by claiming a 2-1 win at St. James' Park on Tuesday.
Brazilian playmaker Raphinha put the visitors ahead after 17 minutes with a cool side-footed finish.
Newcastle came out fighting in the second-half and eventually found an equaliser through Miguel Almiron, who collected Callum Wilson's touch before finishing past Illan Meslier.
But the scores remained tied for just four minutes as Jack Harrison was found in acres of space by Raphinha.
The Englishman made no mistake with an excellent finish past Karl Darlow.
Toon have now lost their last five Premier League games and have collected just two points from a possible 27.
Steve Bruce's side are seven points above 18th-placed Fulham, but Scott Parker's side have two games in hand.
