Hull City boss Steve Bruce found positives from their defeat to Chelsea.
Tom Huddlestone will miss the next three games through suspension after picking up a red card in today's 2-0 defeat at Chelsea, while Michael Dawson joined Mohamed Diame in the treatment room after picking up a hamstring injury at Stamford Bridge.
On Dawson, Bruce said: "He's done his hamstring. We don't know how serious it is, it could be four to six weeks. Diame has been put in a brace for a month, which is a huge disappointment to us.
"It isn't quite going for us at the moment. We can't feel sorry for ourselves. We've put in a really spirited performance here today.
"We can take some positives from it. We can look forward now. That's nine games we've played away from home.
"We're coming up to the halfway stage and now we've got a couple of home ones over the festive period. Let's see if we can go back-to-back and get ourselves halfway up that division where we need to be."
