Bruce eyeing long-term Hull stay

Hull City boss Steve Bruce is happy to stay long-term at the KC.

Hull have made good progress in their first campaign back in the Premier League and have also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Bruce is happy at the club and would love to continue his work for a long time, but he accepts that it will be Hull who decide on his future.

"I would love to carry on here - but it is up to other people if they want to extend my contract," Bruce, who is on a 12-month rolling contract, said in The Sun.

"I have been in management for 15 years and the one thing I have never done is ask for a fresh agreement.

"It's entirely up to the people who employ me to decide that.

"All I know is the Hull fans have been incredible to me and the owners have given me the freedom to manage without any interference."
