Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has dismissed fans' criticism of his summer transfer dealings.
Fans are split on the £8m sale of Kenwyne Jones to Stoke City after Bruce grew frustrated with the Trinidad & Tobago star's inconsistency.
Bruce has also been criticised by some over the £1m signing from Wigan of error-prone ex-Newcastle centre-back Titus Bramble. But Bruce rapped: "We've made that many changes, it's probably too many. You don't get a lot of time, so you have to make decisions quickly.
"But I'm not bothered about criticism. I'm looking at the decisions I've made and thinking, 'Is there one I regret?' and I have to say 'No'. The Kenwyne Jones decision was huge. Most supporters will judge me on who I bring in as his replacement. Of course, the fans will be split. There will be huge Kenwyne fans and other fans who think it was good business.''
