Brown skips Fulham tour for transfer talks

Michael Brown has skipped Fulham's tour of Hong Kong as he enters talks about a move away from Craven Cottage.

Wigan are understood to be interested in signing the former Sheffield United man after reportedly lodging a £2.5million bid.

Sanchez is willing to allow the 30-year-old to leave Craven Cottage after the arrival of Steven Davis from Aston Villa.

Sanchez, whose squad are taking part in the Barclays Asia Trophy, said: "Michael Brown is not with us on this tour, in this moment in time he is talking to another club and discussions are ongoing."
