Wes Brown insists Manchester United are good enough to win the Champions League this season.
Ahead of today's big draw, England defender Brown said: "I can't wait for the Champions League to start and all the players are the same.
The loss to eventual winners AC Milan was blamed on injuries and tiredness but United had previously produced some stirring performances.
The Red Devils earned the plaudits by beating Roma 7-1 in the quarter-finals and after their 3-2 victory against Milan in the first leg.
And Brown believes that they will have no trouble emulating those displays this season.
He added: "Last season the performances got better and better as the tournament went on.
"Our wins at Old Trafford against Roma and Milan really brought something out in the players, knowing that we could play that well against some of Europe's top teams.
"We'll be taking that into this season's campaign and will be looking to do really well."
