Brown is the best captain I've played under says Celtic's Wilson

Kelvin Wilson has labelled Scott Brown as the best captain he has ever played under.

The Celtic centre-back has been deputising for the injured Brown but says the inspirational midfielder would be first to get his hands on the Scottish Cup trophy if the Glasgow giants were to salute over Hibernian at Hampden on May 26.

"I think I would leave that to Broony, the best captain I've ever played under," said Wilson.

"It's his job and I wouldn't take it away from him, even if he's not fit. I wouldn't expect to lead the team up the steps, even if he's in the stand.

"Without a doubt, it's Broony that will do it."
