Brown admits he needs to downsize Hull squad

Hull City boss Phil Brown admits his squad numbers have blown-out.

Caleb Folan, Nathan Doyle and Jamie Devitt have all been shipped out on loan recently and Brown admitted: "We've accumulated a fair-sized squad here. We're still looking to offload one or two but at this moment in time there doesn't appear to be any takers, regardless of what the newspapers are saying. We haven't had any phone calls from anybody with regards to the periphery of the squad.

"I could have a selection headache if we follow up the win against Wigan with a win against Fulham, but that is the type of headache any manager wants. If I've got 27 or 28 players to choose from then so be it. It makes my job harder, but it certainly makes life a little bit easier when it comes to a Saturday afternoon."
