The brother of Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has hit back claims from the prosecution regarding their sister Daisy.
England international Maguire was found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and repeated attempts of bribery following a late night brawl in Mykonos last week.
Maguire has already launched an appeal against the verdict, and Yoannis Paradissis, a prosecutor representing the Greek police Maguire was found guilty of attacking, suggested his chances of success would improve if he were to apologise to those involved. Paradissis also claimed on BBC Radio 4 that Maguire's sister Daisy did not mention anything about being drugged when interviewed by police - something which was used by the defence.
But Laurence Maguire, who plays for Chesterfield, tweeted: "Absolute no chance Harry will be apologising. Daisy and no one in the group was interviewed by the police."
