Bristol City could target Ciaran Clark if they lose Adam Webster to Brighton.

City are likely to accept the Seagulls' £25m bid for Webster.

Should a deal go through, The Mirror says Lee Johnston's side will move to sign Newcastle defender Clark.

Crystal Palace have also made an enquiry about the Republic of Ireland international.

Toon currently rate the 29-year-old at around £7m.
