Bristol City star Abraham: What Chelsea captain Terry said to me…

Tammy Abraham has revealed what Chelsea great John Terry said to him prior to his loan move to Bristol City.

The 18-year-old striker has been a revelation since making his way to Ashton Gate, scoring 10 goals in 13 matches for the Robins.

Prior to heading to Bristol, Abraham spoke with Blues captain Terry regarding his loan stint at Nottingham Forest back in 2000 and what he was likely to experience playing in the Championship.

“He was telling me what to expect, what defenders will do on and off the ball," Abraham told the Daily Mail.

“He congratulated me after my debut. I asked him about his loan at Forest.

“He's told me to get that experience and enjoy it."

Abraham has enjoyed a stellar first two months with City which has seen his find the back of on seven occasions in just 10 league outings to lead the Championship's scoring charts alongside Newcastle United's Dwight Gayle and Brentford's Scott Hogan.
