Bristol City boss Lee Johnson isn't surprised by Premier League interest for Aden Flint.
West Brom boss Tony Pulis and Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce have had Flint watched in recent games.
Johnson told the Bristol Post: "It does not surprise me at all. You've only got to look at someone like (West Brom defender) Gareth McAuley to see what is possible.
"He went to the Premier League at the same age as Aden Flint is now and went on to have a really good career.
"The most exciting thing for Aden Flint, is that he is still on the up. That's why other clubs are looking at him.
"He is not one of those, who is 33 or 34 and just looking for an out and out pay-day, he is still stretching himself and proving himself at every level.
"He has done that at every level he has played, from Non-League to League Two, for League Two to League One and now in the Championship.
"I have no doubt he can do it at an even higher level. I've no doubt he has a Premier League future ahead of him and, hopefully, it is with us."
