Brighton winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh is no closer to returning to first team action.
The club's record signing is still not ready to resume training.
But his manager Chris Hughton is hopeful he will play against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Hughton revealed to The Argus: "He's had a very slight setback. We had to make a decision whether to play him or not take the risk.
"We decided not to take the risk, hence he wasn't on the bench.
"It was really a precaution. When somebody's at a stage where they've come through an injury and they are at the end of it, if you are still a little bit unsure then it's not right to take that risk."
The winger only has four Premier League starts this term, along with six sub appearances.
