Brighton: We'll face Arsenal on Saturday

Brighton expect their Premier League game with Arsenal to go ahead this weekend.

Arsenal's match against Manchester City on Wednesday night was postponed after it was revealed a "number" of Arsenal stars had met Olympiakos owner Evangelos Marinakis, who has been diagnosed with the coronavirus, when the clubs met in the Europa League nearly two weeks ago.

But Brighton have confirmed that their game against Arsenal will still proceed as planned after the period of isolation ends.

A statement from the Seagulls read: "Arsenal's match at Manchester City, due to take place at the Etihad Stadium tonight, has been postponed after a number of Gunners players have self isolated as a precaution with regard to the coronavirus.

"The risk is considered extremely low and Saturday's match remains scheduled to go ahead with the self-isolation period for those players ending tomorrow, as we continue to follow government and medical advice with regard to the coronavirus."
