Brighton veteran striker Glenn Murray is full of pride over his form this season.

Only Mohamed Salah, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero have scored more goals than the Brighton striker this season.

That is quite an elite list.

“Obviously I look, but I've done that at every level of my career. It makes me feel good, especially because I think I probably get less chances than some of the other guys up there, to be honest," said Murray to the Mirror.

“They are all world class strikers, all pretty special in their own right. But I like Harry Kane, he's exceptional. I like the way he's done it, the way he didn't stay under the wing of a big club, he went out there on loan, played in the Championship.

“He's a better player for that and I think he's also better for having gone out and played, rather than just sat on the bench at a big Premier League club."
