Brighton U21 cruise to victory over Monaco

Brighton cruised to victory over AS Monaco in the Premier League International Cup on Wednesday.

Todd Miller opened the scoring in the 30th minute when he scored the rebound after Jack Spong's penalty was saved and in the second half close-range goals from Luca Barrington and substitute Samy Chouchane made it two wins out of two in this competition.

Albion will be back in action in this competition on Monday when PSV Eindhoven are the visitors to the American Express Elite Performance Centre.


Albion: Beadle, Offiah, Tsoungui, Turns (Jackson 45), Nilsson, Hinshelwood, Spong, Barrington (Chouchane 64), Furlong, Peupion (Baker-Boaitey 79), Miller (Ifill 79).

Subs not used: Everitt, Cahill.
