The young Swede has featured three times for the German second division side so far and spoke about how the move has come at the right time in his career.
He told the Brighton website, “I've really enjoyed my time over here so far. It took a little while to get used to my new surroundings, but the players and staff have been really good to me.
“I have that feeling of excitement at the moment, everything is new and it's a good challenge for me.
“My aim is to get better, and hopefully I will play more often, because that's the main reason I came here, to play games of football.
“I need some more game time to show what I can do on the pitch. I'll continue to do my best in training and hopefully my chance will come, because I'm more than ready."
