Brighton striker Neal Maupay is targeting a place in France's Olympics squad for this year's Tokyo Games.

And the 23 year-old hopes PSG star Kylian Mbappe also commits to the campaign.

On whether he can be one of the over-age players, Maupay said: "I never asked myself the question.

"But if someone calls me, I am of course ready.

"And a duo of Mbappé-Maupay at the Olympics, it would have people talking..."

Maupay has scored seven goals in 18 games for the Seagulls this season.
