Ahead of their season finale at Burnley, Maupay hailed fellow striker Murray, who achieved double figure goals in Albion's previous two Premier League campaigns.
“Glenn has been really good with me I have to say – he wants to play and he's right to do so, but he's always been behind me, pushing me and helping me improve," said Maupay.
“For me that was huge because I know sometimes he could be frustrated on the bench, but he was always supporting me. It makes both of us improve. I couldn't have asked for a better teammate."
