Jurgen Locadia has declared his commitment to Brighton.

The Dutch striker spoke before Christmas about leaving the Seagulls.

However, after hitting a sudden seam of goalscoring form, Locadia told ANP: "I do not want to be loaned or sold in January. That is not my plan.

"I have clearly indicated that I want to play and I think my place is here in Brighton. I know I had a difficult time when I was not playing, but I have shown in the last two games that I deserve to be here.

"Every player wants to be selected and it's up to us to show that we want to play."
