Brighton striker Glenn Murray could be on the move this summer.
Sky Sports says Cardiff are considering a bid for Murray to help them bounce straight back to the Premier League.
The Bluebirds hope the 35-year-old, who has scored 35 goals in the Premier League, can seal their return to the top-flight at the first attempt.
However, Brighton boss Graham Potter has intimated he's counting on Murray this new season.
The new manager stated, “I think as a character, as a person, his know-how, his experience, he is at a stage of his career where you want those kind of people around.
“They can help the group, they can help the team.
“So I'm looking forward to working with him.
“I've been really impressed with him as a person and I think he is going to be an important player for us."
