Brighton striker Florin Andone hoping for fresh start

Brighton & Hove Albion striker Florin Andone is eager for a new chance under manager Graham Potter.

The Romanian had to wait until the start of November ahead of making his first appearance for the club, before going on to turn out a further 26 times in all competitions.

Andone spoke about the frustrating start to life in England, before emphasising the lessons he's learnt from the tough spell on the sidelines.

“Last year was hard because I had a few injuries that I didn't expect, it was my toughest year with those," he told the club's website.

“But that's the reality of football and you have highs and lows, sometimes you have to wait and rest, but of course everything was different for me.

“The league and team were new to me and we had a new style that we played, I tried to learn as much as possible and now I feel ready, I know what I need to do this year and I know what this division is about."
