Clubs are lining up for young Brighton defender Ben White.

The 20-year-old 51 appearances for League Two club Newport County last season. But it is expected he'll move to League One or the Championship next season.

The move would be temporary after White recently signed a new three-year deal with the Seagulls.

Chairman Tony Bloom said: "Ben White at Newport played pretty much every game and did really well and there's a lot of demand from clubs in a higher division for his services next season. We haven't made any decisions on him yet."
