Brighton & Hove Albion star Alexis Mac Allister has rubbished claims he is desperate to leave the club.

The Argentina World Cup winner is already being linked with a move away from Brighton.

Despite his stock skyrocketing since the tournament, the midfielder is focused on achieving the aims he set out with Brighton for the remainder of the campaign.

He stated to ITV this week: "I'm fine, I always say I'm focused here in Brighton, this is the club who helped me become a better player, better human-being.

"I'm not rushed to leave, I try not to read or hear too much but as I say, I'm very focused here. I'm looking forward to the weekend."

He had also reiterated his desire to stay to Albion TV at the start of January.
