Brighton signing Ulloa in for Southampton clash

Brighton manager Chris Hughton has confirmed Leonardo Ulloa will be included in the squad for Wednesday night's clash with Southampton.

The Argentine has signed from Leicester City on loan for the rest season.

He spent a season with the south coast club before moving to the King Power in 2014, and Hughton has revealed the 31-year-old will be thrust straight into the action for his goal-shy squad.

"He's in the squad for Wednesday and we are happy with his levels. He hasn't played as many games as he would have liked," Hughton said of Ulloa.

"We have found it difficult to get the goals we need to win games, so to have that competition and options in that position is definitely something we wanted to do.

"We know the type of player Ulloa is and what he will bring to the squad. He has gained great experience in the last few years in the games he has been involved with.

"We want him to bring that quality and experience to us and give us the options we felt we needed."
