Brighton receive huge boost from take up of new season tickets

Brighton have received a huge boost after the initial take up of new season ticket holders.

More than 92% of supporters have already opted to renew, compared with a final figure of 93% at the end of last season.

In recent years, the renewal rate peaked following Albion's promotion to the Premier League at 95% but has consistently been above 90% since the club moved to Falmer Stadium.

Chief executive Paul Barber commented, “This is encouraging to see our fans, once again, showing their support and commitment to the club for the 2020/21 season.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank our fans for this ongoing support to the club, Graham Potter and the players.

“We have seen some natural attrition due to the usual reasons, mainly due to changes in personal circumstances.

“This will present an opportunity for those 8,000-plus fans on the club's waiting list to become season-ticket holders, based on their position on that list."
