Exciting Brighton prospect Ryan Longman has explained his decision to join Hull City.
Longman cited Grant McCann and his style of football as the reason behind his season long loan at the KCOM.
He told the club's official website: "I think I've spoken to about five or six clubs in recent weeks, but after speaking to Grant McCann and coming up to have a look around I was really impressed.
"The way the gaffer presented his philosophies and how he is as a person just drew me in really and I was delighted to have the opportunity to sign here.
"I like to try and create a lot of chances and to provide goals and assists. I try to be direct and a nuisance to opposition defenders.
"I'm quite versatile in terms of playing anywhere across the front three, and I think that versatility is important in the modern game.
"Knowing the style of play that the gaffer here likes, and having played against it last season, I think it will suit my game."
