Brighton defender Adam Chicksen claims the players fully support boss Sami Hyypia as the Eagles lie 22nd in the Championship having won just one of their last 17 league games. "We obviously believe in the manager and the way he wants to play," 23-year-old Chicksen told BBC Sussex.
"We believe in the philosophy he brings to the club and try and do everything he wants us to do in games - but we need results with that."
Former Liverpool defender Hyypia has struggled to get results at a club which finished in the Championship play-off places in the last two seasons.
"All the lads respect him and we always give everything for him. We need to keep positive. If we are all doom and gloom, we are not going to get anywhere," said Chicksen.
"As a group of players collectively we need to pull together."
