Brighton are finally close to signing a new striker.

Seagulls boss Chris Hughton has been desperate to add more goals to his side after he failed with numerous attempts to sign a forward in the summer.

Sky Sports claim Hughton may get his man as talks with PSV Eindhoven over striker Jurgen Locadia have begun.

It is reported that the deal will cost £14m.

The 24-year-old Dutchman has scored nine times this season for the Eredivisie leaders.
