Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma favours Arsenal ahead of Leicester interest

Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma favours a move to Arsenal, it has been revealed.

Arsenal appear to be the frontrunners in the race to sign Brighton star Yves Bissouma. The midfielder has been in fine form at the Amex Stadium this term, helping boost their chances of staying in the Premier League. And while Leicester are keen on the 24-year-old, a move to the Emirates Stadium seems more likely.

Football.London says Bissouma's preference would be a move to Arsenal at the end of the campaign.

It's claimed he would choose to play for the Gunners over any other club, such is his determination to one day move to the Emirates Stadium.

And Arsenal have already laid the foundations when it comes to a potential move for the 24-year-old.

The report said that Arsenal had initiated contact with the player's agent, Michael N'Cho, about the prospect of signing the midfielder.

And the Gunners are hopeful that, in the future, they'll have Bissouma operating alongside Thomas Partey in the middle of the park.
