Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross has opened the door to a return to Germany.

Gross scored twice in victory at Manchester United last Sunday.

However, he admits a return home has been on his mind, stating: "At some point, it may well be that the step goes back to Germany and home.

"I'm very attached to my homeland. But at the moment I'm happy to be here."

Gross has made 171 competitive appearances for Brighton, scoring 19 goals and providing 29 assists. He has been linked with RB Leipzig and Werder Bremen.
