Brighton midfielder Anthony Knockaert was left frustrated after their defeat to Tottenham.
Knockaert believed that the side did enough to deserve something from Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham.
The Frenchman notched his first goal of the 2018/19 campaign against Mauricio Pochettino's men and had chances to find the back of the net on more than one occasion – and he reflected honestly on the contest.
He said, “We're a bit disappointed because we didn't play the way we know we can in the first half.
“We were a bit deep and then conceding the penalty didn't help us – but we came in at half time and talked about we needed to press higher.
“We did that and had chances in the second half – I had a chance and if I scored, it would have been a different game, I feel like we could have got something from the game today."
