Brighton midfielder Jakob Moder: 6-month prep with Lech Poznan ideal for me

Brighton midfielder Jakob Moder says he benefited from his loan with Lech Poznan.

Moder believes starting the season at Lech Poznan before switching to Albion in January has helped him adapt quickly to life in the Premier League.

The midfielder played on loan before moving to Albion on a permanent basis in January and says it was a big benefit to him.

He said, “I'm a big fan of the Premier League so when I signed for Brighton I began to take more of an interest in the players and I was always in contact with the staff at the club as well. But it was good for me to be able to stay in Poland because it was important for me to help Poznan.

“After I signed, I watched every Brighton game for the next six months.

“It also gave me the chance to get to know more about the club and it has worked well for everybody."
