Brighton midfielder Bissouma forced to wait for dream Arsenal transfer

Arsenal will wait until the summer to pursue Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.

The Mali international has emerged as a bright prospect after a breakthrough year with Albion.

Liverpool and Manchester United have both been linked with the 24-year-old.

But football.london says that Bissouma would join Arsenal over any other Premier League club if they came in for him.

The feeling is mutual for Arsenal, who have already made contact with Bissouma's agent about a potential switch to north London.

However, any move will likely be delayed until the summer as Mikel Arteta has prioritised an attacking midfield signing for the January transfer window.

Bissouma speaks regularly with Arsenal duo Gabriel and Nicolas Pepe, who he played with at Lille, and is happy to wait for a move to the Emirates.
