Brighton manager Potter pleased Maupay scored on debut

Brighton manager Graham Potter was pleased to see Neal Maupay score on debut in victory at Watford.

The Seagulls are off to the best possible start thanks to an Abdoulaye Doucoure own goal and second-half efforts from substitutes Florin Andone and Maupay.

Potter said, "Nice for him to score. when we're away from home at these sort of places you need the goal to kill the game off.

"I thought he took his goal well and Florian took his goal well.

"It's great for the subs to come on and have an impact and be ready to help the team. They're professional guys, they're ready to come on and help the team."
