Brighton manager Graham Potter has hailed the professionalism of Marc Cucurella amid reports linking him with Manchester City.
The Spanish left-back is reportedly a target for City boss Pep Guardiola.
Potter told Sky Sports: "He has been himself. He has trained really well. He's a well-liked member of the group.
"Everyone loves him so he is just training and he has played as normal.
"It's part of being a footballer that you have to deal with the speculation out there. It is nothing you can control.
"He has been a top professional and just trained and been a part of the group."
"We are quite calm across the board in terms of the squad we have, the options we have.
"We are not sitting panicking, we are just trying to prepare."
