Brighton manager Graham Potter is happy with his summer signings so far.
Leandro Trossard and Matt Clarke both played in the weekend's friendly win over Austrian second division side FC Liefering, with the former getting on the scoresheet in the second-half.
Potter said: "It's not easy coming to a new club and settling in. Both are adapting to an increase in level, but they were fine.
"It was nice for Leandro to get his goal and Matt was solid enough defensively.
"There are things to improve, of course, but I was happy enough with the application this week and I'm looking forward to working with them."
