Brighton manager Chris Hughton is still not confident enough to start Jose Izquierdo.

The talented winger has struggled with injures all season, but has made three consecutive substitute appearances.

Despite this Saturday's six-pointer with Southampton, Hughton doubts he'll risk the Colombian.

Hughton told The Argus: "At this moment we generally haven't felt we are at the level to start him, but we've had a good couple of weeks with him.

"He didn't go on international duty. He is getting a lot closer now."
