Brighton have suffered a blow with the news that Dan Burn will be out for six to eight weeks.

The club's boss Graham Potter confirmed the defender will be absent for the foreseeable future.

He came off after 22 minutes during their 1-1 draw against Chelsea.

Burn has played every game for the club this term.

Potter told reporters: "I don't think there was anything sinister to it, it just looked like a really heavy contact.

"These things happen in football."
