Brighton striker Glenn Murray admits his side "got away with one" against Southampton on Monday.
The Saints had a 2-0 lead in the game, after Danny Ings put away a penalty in the 65th minute.
However, Brighton came roaring back and equalised through Murray's 91st minute penalty.
But the striker knows his side cannot play this badly and continue to get results in the league.
"After the way we performed in the first half we got away with one, we were very poor," Murray told Sky Sports.
"Second half it was a different game, we put them under pressure and thankfully got our reward in the end.
"We were disappointed with the way we played in the first half and I think you saw a considerable difference in the second half."
