Brighton goalkeeper Ryan: Mooy will find his place

Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan is confident Aaron Mooy will force his way into the starting XI.

Midfielder Mooy, who turned 29 on Sunday, came on for the last ten minutes in the 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday.

It was his second appearance off the bench for the Seagulls since joining on a season-long loan from Huddersfield.

Ryan said: “He's a quality player. He's demonstrated that in the time he has had in the Premier League, for Australia and throughout his career.

“We are blessed to have quite some depth in the squad and he is working hard each day to try to make the most of the minutes he is getting.

“I am sure over the course of the season he is going to be right up there with the appearances.

"I am sure he will start some games here and there too but that is obviously up to the gaffer."
