Brighton forward Locadia scores in MLS debut

Brighton forward Jurgen Locadia scored on his debut in Major League Soccer.

He was playing for FC Cincinnati for the first time since joining the club temporarily in the January transfer window.

Locadia netted in the 71st minute, only seven minutes after he came off the bench for Cincinnati.

His goal was in vain, as his side lost to New York Red Bulls 3-2.

But it is a positive start for Locadia, who hopes to resurrect his career after a difficult spell in England.

Brighton will also be pleased at his start, as it may allow them to sell him for a significant price in the coming months.
